Tecno Spark 50 4GB + 128GB, 7000mAh Battery, 18W Fast Wired Charging, 2 Years Warranty

The Tecno Spark 50 (4GB RAM + 128GB Storage) is an exceptionally durable, battery-centric entry-level smartphone. Released as a core offering in Tecno’s value-driven line, it stands out by packing an ultra-massive battery, high-refresh-rate display, and military-grade toughness usually missing from budget-conscious alternatives.

The marquee feature of the Spark 50 is its monstrous 7,000mAh lithium-polymer battery. This mega-battery effortlessly delivers up to two full days of intensive daily use, or more than 28 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge. It safely supports 18W fast wired charging over USB Type-C and incorporates smart battery-health optimization designed to retain 80% capacity even after 5 years of daily use. Additionally, it natively supports wired reverse charging, allowing the device to double as a backup portable power bank for low-power accessories.

The handset offers an immersive 6.78-inch IPS LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. A premium inclusion for this tier is its 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, which dynamically scales up to deliver ultra-smooth scrolling, seamless animations, and responsive touch controls. The screen is engineered with a modern punch-hole cutout for the front camera and features advanced software processing that allows the screen to respond accurately even when navigated with wet or oily hands.

Physically, the device is heavily ruggedized. It carries an IP64 rating for comprehensive dust tightness and splash protection, and it is built to survive accidental drops from up to 1.5 meters.

Under the hood, the device is driven by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 processor, running alongside an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 graphics engine. This hardware architecture is paired with 4GB of physical RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to an additional 2TB via a dedicated microSD slot. The phone runs on Android 16 layered under HiOS 16, which is certified for up to 5 years of system fluency, minimizing software degradation over extended ownership.

For photography, the Spark 50 features a high-resolution 50MP AI primary camera on the rear with an f/1.9 aperture and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). The system leverages FlashSnap high-speed shutter processing and integrated LivePhoto capabilities to capture motion sharply. Selfies are handled by an 8MP front-facing camera accompanied by a screen flash.

In terms of unique features, the smartphone introduces FreeLink 2.0 tech, allowing direct device-to-device network-free calling and texting over a 1.5-kilometer range without a cellular or Wi-Fi signal. It also includes dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an integrated infrared blaster to control household electronics directly.
