Itel City 200 4GB + 128GB, 5200mAh Lithium-Polymer Battery, 18W Wired Fast Charging, 2 Years Warranty

The itel City 200 (4GB RAM + 128GB Storage) is a highly durable budget smartphone released by itel. Engineered for users whose phones undergo heavy daily wear—such as students, outdoor traders, and site workers—it provides robust hardware resilience typically missing from the budget segment while maintaining a surprisingly sleek profile.

A defining feature of the itel City 200 is its outstanding physical protection. The phone is built to withstand demanding conditions, carrying an IP65 rating that shields it comprehensively against dust and low-pressure water streams like heavy rain. Additionally, it has passed rigorous MIL-STD-810H military-grade compliance testing, surviving structural drops onto solid surfaces from heights of up to 1.5 meters. Despite this armor, the phone retains an ergonomic and slim 7.45mm metallic unibody design.

On the front, it sports a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD display featuring a 720 x 1576 pixel resolution. A standout feature for this tier is its fluid 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring ultra-smooth scrolling, responsive animations, and a seamless interface. The display incorporates a modern punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and handles outdoor usage comfortably with a peak brightness of 700 nits.

Unlike many other entry-level options that utilize the lighter Go Edition software, the City 200 runs a full version of Android 15 customized with itel OS 15. This allows applications to behave exactly as they would on higher-end devices. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor accompanied by an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 graphics processing unit.

This specific variant configuration bundles 4GB of LPDDR4X system RAM, which can be virtually doubled through Memory Fusion technology allocating unused device storage. Coupled with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, the device can be easily expanded up to 2TB using a dedicated microSDXC card slot to manage massive local media folders. The phone also features itel's Sola AI assistant, offering on-device AI-powered writing assistance, live speech translation, and visual image-to-text tools.

For photography, the itel City 200 upgrades its optics to a true 50MP primary rear camera paired with an LED flash. Supported by HDR and panorama modes, it delivers crisp daylight photos, scans documents sharply, and captures full 1080p video at 30fps. The camera software includes creative presets like Dual-Video and an integrated AI Vlog suite. Selfies, video calls, and instantaneous face unlocking are handled by a 8MP front-facing lens built into the display's top cutout.

The device packs a substantial 5,200mAh lithium-polymer battery designed to comfortably sustain over a full day of heavy regular multitasking. It handles refueling through 18W wired fast charging via a modern USB Type-C 2.0 port. In emergency situations, the device supports reverse wired charging, effectively doubling as a portable power bank to juice up low-power accessories over an OTG connection.

A major highlight is itel's proprietary UltraLink Free Call technology. This feature permits direct device-to-device voice calling and texting over distances of up to 2 kilometers without cellular tower signals, SIM network connectivity, or Wi-Fi access—making it perfect for remote sites or areas with zero signal. Additional conveniences include a side-mounted physical fingerprint sensor, an integrated infrared port to control local televisions or AC units, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and loud speakers enhanced with DTS audio tuning.
